Pastor Kevin Olson graduated from college with a degree in Electrical Engineering and he worked for three different companies before being called into full-time ministry. The call to ministry came to him at the Free Lutheran Youth Convention in Estes Park, CO in 1991. Kevin finished seminary in 1996 and took the call to be the Youth Ministries Director, where he served until August 2007. During a sabbatical mission trip to Tanzania, Kevin saw the great need for training church leaders in God’s Word.

Pastor Kevin served with the Ambassador Institute under the AFLC World Missions department for 11 years until December 2017. The Ambassador Institute trained pastors and leaders in their own countries. He finished a Doctorate of Ministry in Servant Leadership Development from Bethel Seminary in St Paul in May of 2016 in order to give the international training greater validity. In January of 2018, Pastor Kevin started the Orality Institute which uses an oral strategy to train leaders in multiple countries around the world. Those leaders are then teaching their own people in their own languages. In June of 2026 Pastor Kevin accepted a part-time call to serve MN Valley Church in Lakeville, MN where he continues ministry to this day.
