Our Association
Minnesota Valley Church was founded in 1981 as a member of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God.
Our services are a balance of worship in spirit and truth centered on scripture, filled with praise, and dependent on prayer.
We work with other like-minded churches to build the Kingdom of God, which includes local and international ministries.
We share the faith passed down through history through the creeds and confessions of faith.
Our local congregation is a self-governing body under the authority of the Word and the Spirit of God
What We Believe
This congregation believes that the Bible is the inspired, and authoritative Word of God, revealed for the salvation of all mankind. It is the supreme and only source for the rule of faith, doctrine, and life in the congregation. From it we know that we are saved from our sin by the grace of God, faith in Jesus, and the life-giving scriptures.
We believe that eternal life comes from a living faith with Jesus, not merely from membership, church attendance, or outward actions. We share the role of spreading the good news of Jesus to the whole world. Together, we cherish all of the spiritual gifts that the Lord gives and encourage one another with them in our daily lives.
We love being connected to the one true God. He places us in community where we are united in faith with Christians close to home and around the world. His work in our lives, and in this church is part if His plan.
